Over the past few years, Karola Pavone has specialized in musical comedy shows alongside her pianist in crime Nadine Schuster, with whom she performs different comedic shows in german theatres and festivals such as Stadttheater Gießen, MoselMusikfestival, Künstlerhaus43 & Sommerfestspiele Wiesbaden, Deutsches Theater München and many others. She uses repertoire from Schubert Lieder to contemporary pop music, with particular attention to the repertoire of the Berlin Cabarets of the 1920s and 30s.
She is currently working on translating some of this very particular work in english.
